Nokia announced Instagram's arrival alongside its new
additions, the Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet and the Lumia 1520 Windows Phone 8 Smartphone,
at Nokia World:
"Our ultimate goal is to bring Instagram to everyone
who wants to use it," Instagram co-founder and CEO Kevin Systrom said in a
statement. "We're looking forward to watching the Windows Phone community
use Instagram to capture and share beautiful moments in the coming weeks."
